A new year…

It is the start of a brand new year!  I can not believe another year has come and gone.  2011 was a wonderful year for my little family.  With the birth of our third daughter, to my husband’s career.

WE. ARE. BLESSED.

I want to let you all know how grateful I am to God for the goodness he has shown me.  I know there is suffering all around me.  Now, I will be frank, not sure why people say that, but I will be anyway…my life and my little family are not perfect by any means.  If fact, with all of my blessings, I still find myself feeling overwhelmed with motherhood, being a house wife and becoming the kind of photographer I hope to be.

This year, my resolutions are simple, and personal.  But I believe that to start a new is a gift.  2012 may have just been the start of a new month or day, but for me it is symbolic of our ability to change.  I hope that this year will be a wonderful year for those that I know and love.

I pray that all of us will feel the need to grow and change and be a little better.

Today’s tip is short and simple.  As a photographer, or a budding artist, let’s go out and capture those things that are most important to us.  Let us make our own image in this industry, instead of trying to copy what others have done.  My motto is to be yourself, and be creative.  I, too, am working on this, every day.  I hope to be able to grow my business and my creativity in 2012.
