My husband and I were given the awesome opportunity to go to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands a couple of weeks ago.  While I was there I thought I would try to capture some of the local culture on camera.  While St. Thomas is actually part of the USA, they have a very different way of life from what I am used to.  However, as I took pictures of some of the locals I found that the saying, “kids will be kids” rang true.   These local junior high kids were doing what I thought any teen or kid would do after school anywhere in the world,  play soccer. And because it is World Cup time, I felt this moment of being a teenager was perfect for this week’s contest.
